Estonia is a largely a flat country on the eastern shore of the Baltic Sea. It is the most northerly country of the three Baltic States. As of 2012, the most important sectors of Estonia’s economy were wholesale and retail trade, transport, accommodation and food services (22.2 %), industry (21.2 %) and public administration, defense, education, human health and social work activities (14.4 %). Estonia’s main export partners are Sweden, Finland and Russia, while Finland, Germany and Sweden are Estonia’s main import partners.
