In the north, Bulgaria is dominated by the vast lowlands of Danube Plain with the river Danube, which defines the border to Romaina. In the south, Bulgaria is dominated by highlands and elevated plains. In the east the Black Sea coast attracts tourists all over the world every year. In 2012, the most important sectors of this country’s economy were industry (25.0 %), wholesale and retail trade, transport, accommodation and food services (21.1 %) and public administration, defence, education, human health and social work activities (12.5 %). Their main export partners are Germany, Turkey and Italy, and their main import partners are Russia, Germany and Italy.
